8.01. Other Events
On
November 25, 2009, Essex Property Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) agreed to the
repurchase of approximately $95.4 million aggregate principle amount of the
Company’s 3.625% Exchangeable Senior Notes in a privately negotiated
transaction. The total amount to be paid is approximately $94.5 million plus
accrued interest. The transaction is expected to be completed next
week.
The
information in this report is being furnished pursuant to Item 2.01 and shall
