The following information is furnished pursuant to Item 5.02 “Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.” On February 8, 2008, The Buckle, Inc. issued a press release announcing the transition of James E. Shada from his role as Executive Vice President of Sales. Mr. Shada will remain in his current position until June 30, 2008. At that time, he will step down as an officer of the Company, but plans to continue working with the Company to assist in educating and coaching the sales team for an indefinite period of time. Mr. Shada also plans to continue serving on the Company’s Board of Directors.
