On March 19, 2004, Flag Financial Corporation announced a stock repurchase program pursuant to which it intends to repurchase up to an aggregate of 10% of its outstanding common stock. The repurchases will be made in accordance with applicable securities laws, including Rule 10b-18 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
