Item 8.01. Other Events.
On March 30, 2008, Vornado Realty Trust (“Vornado”) announced that it entered into an agreement to sell its sell its entire interest in Americold Realty Trust to The Yucaipa Companies. The sale was completed on March 31, 2008. As previously announced, Vornado received net proceeds of approximately $220 million resulting in a gain of approximately $110 million. A copy of the related press release is attached as exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
