Candice Glover will take center stage for a free concert to launch the 20th Annual Tanger PinkSTYLE Campaign in support of the fight against breast cancer.
PRLog - Jul 30, 2013 - HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. -- Tanger Outlet Center in Bluffton, S.C., is set to come alive with the amazing voice of talented hometown singer Candice Glover, who will be performing a free concert to benefit Beaufort Memorial Keyserling Cancer Center. This special concert, which will be sponsored by Hilton Head Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, will take place Thursday, Sept. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot at Tanger 1.
The “Candice for a Cure” Concert will be a wonderful way to kick off the 20th Annual Tanger PinkSTYLE Campaign against breast cancer and in support of the excellent work being done by the Keyserling Cancer Center, a Duke-affiliated institution. The proceeds from the PinkSTYLE Campaign directly fund important programs at Keyserling, such as clinical trials that give patients access to the most current treatments and free services for patients and survivors throughout the Lowcountry.
A pre-performance Pink Partini will be held before the concert from 5-7 p.m. There will be an abundance of complimentary food and drinks, along with dancing, a chance to win prizes from Tanger brands, and a personal appearance by Candice Glover herself. Food trucks from throughout the Lowcountry will have gourmet food for sale from beginning in the afternoon and straight through to the end of the concert.
Pink Partini tickets are $20 per person; all proceeds will be donated to Beaufort Memorial Keyserling Cancer Center. Tickets can be purchased online from Tanger Outlet beginning Aug. 1.
This will be a memorable event, as Beaufort County’s own Candice Glover takes the stage to benefit a worthy cause. "We couldn't be more thrilled to sponsor this concert of our hometown Idol," said John Lyons, General Manager of Hilton Head Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. "We are really looking forward to the concert and know it's going to be unforgettable."
