Welder Turned Author Gets Film Adaptation of First Book

Mark 'The Welder' Murray Shows How to Change One's Life by Asking Why

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - January 25, 2021 - (Newswire.com)

Mark Murray's first book, Why, gets a highly anticipated film adaptation. The film, which was under the production of Rushmore Pictures (sister company of Rushmore Press), spans about 20 minutes long and depicts re-enactments of some of the struggles Murray faced during his life. But it also expands some of the core principles in his book.

The book the film is based on raises important issues, such as relationship with oneself and with others, concept of a higher power, struggles with addiction, and the choice between yearning more from life or being content. At one point or another, Murray struggled with all these, especially during the darkest moments of his life. Despite the challenging times, he was able to prevail and come out with some answers to these questions.

He wrote his book to serve as another blueprint for people who are undergoing similar challenges in life. The film is very much in the same vein as the book but with compelling visuals to really get the points home. The trailer for the short film has already been released and uploaded online on YouTube. The short film is also currently being submitted to different film fests.

Prior to being a celebrated author, Murray primarily works as a welder. He became addicted to drugs at some point and did several rehabilitation stints. This book was one of his outlets to make sense of his struggle.

Murray's book can be bought online on Amazon.
