The award ceremony is set to take place on Tuesday, October 14, at the Avon Theatre - Deborah & Chuck Royce Cinema Arts Center in Stamford, Connecticut, celebrating Mr. Davis's extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry over the past six decades.

As a five-time Grammy Award winner, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and the creative force behind some of the most iconic artists of our time, including Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, Earth, Wind & Fire, Dionne Warwick, Santana, Sly & The Family Stone, Patti Smith, Alicia Keys, and countless others, Clive Davis has not only shaped the music industry but has also left an indelible mark on the broader cultural landscape.

The Avon Theatre Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates artists and cultural figures who have made lasting and transformative contributions to the arts, media, and storytelling. This prestigious honor recognizes individuals whose work has not only garnered critical acclaim but has also had a profound impact on audiences and the broader cultural landscape. Previous recipients include the iconic actor and producer Michael Douglas, who was recognized for his decades-long career encompassing film, television, and advocacy. Through this award, the Avon Theatre continues its mission to highlight those whose creative legacies inspire future generations and enhance the role of the arts in society.

About Clive Davis:
Clive Davis began his career at Columbia Records where he was appointed president in 1967 and signed such legendary rock artists as Sly and the Family Stone, Earth, Wind & Fire, Billy Joel, Janis Joplin, Santana, Bruce Springsteen, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Aerosmith and Chicago. In 1974, Davis co-founded Arista Records where he signed Whitney Houston, Barry Manilow and Patti Smith. and further developed the areers of Aretha Franklin, the Grateful Dead, the Kinks, and Dionne Warwick.
