AM Best to Participate in NAIC International Insurance Forum Investment Panel Discussion

AM Best Managing Director Ken Johnson will participate in a panel discussion on navigating the investment landscape during the upcoming NAIC International Insurance Forum. The event takes place May 16-17, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Washington in Washington, D.C.

The panel is titled, “Positioning for the Future – Navigating the Investment Landscape,” and will be moderated by Virginia Bureau of Insurance Commissioner Scott A. White, who is also NAIC vice president. Johnson joined AM Best in 2009 and manages a team of senior analysts that oversee the rating recommendations for those rated companies in the life/annuity and property/casualty composites industry. He is also a co-founding member of AM Best’s Investment Working Group and Hybrid Evaluation Group,

Additional panelists include Bermuda Monetary Authority CEO Craig Swan; Douglas Neimann, executive vice president and chief risk officer, Athene Holding Ltd.; and Pooja Rahman, chief risk officer, Transamerica. The panel discussion takes place at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 16.
