Sidus Space Develops Advanced High-Speed Switch Card Expanding Products to Support Small Satellite Supply Chain

New Hybrid 3D Printed Switch Card Integrated in LizzieSat-2 and 3 Enhanced Designs

Sidus Space (NASDAQ: SIDU) (the “Company” or “Sidus”), a provider of end-to-end precision Space Infrastructure solutions that include satellite Data-as-a-Service on its proprietary on-orbit platform, today announced that it has designed and developed an advanced high speed switch card using the Frontgrade protocol independent Crosspoint Switch. The multi-payload switch card is integrated in LizzieSat™-2 (LS-2) and is offered as a standalone product to support the Small Satellite Supply Chain.

“At Sidus Space, we are at the forefront of innovation, collaborating with industry leaders to develop reliable and adaptable technology capable of withstanding the harshest spaceborne conditions. By continuing to integrate cutting-edge in-house 3D printing technology into our product portfolio, we achieve unparalleled precision and customization, setting new standards in the industry while delivering exceptional value to our customers,” said Carol Craig, CEO of Sidus Space.

The Sidus Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) Switch Card serves as port replicator and extends the capabilities of the payload processor, enabling communication with multiple optical sensors through high speed LVDS data connections. Low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) is a standard for high-speed, low-power communication that uses differential signals to transmit data over long distances. Frontgrade’s 3.125Gbps Crosspoint Switch has enhanced redundancy and fault tolerance making it compatible with the Space VPX VITA 78 standard, an industry standard for avionics boards and interconnects between space systems and components.

Sidus Space will leverage its business operations, marketing resources, and extensive heritage as a trusted space systems supplier to bring this advanced technology offering to market. The Sidus switch cards are anticipated to go into full rate production in 2025.
