The agreement was formalized on June 5, 2025, at Kupsa's headquarters in Oyón (Álava), Spain.
Founded in 1969, Kupsa Coatings is a leading manufacturer of paints, varnishes, lacquers, and coatings, serving industries such as wood, metal, and automotive. With a production capacity exceeding 30,000 tonnes per year, Kupsa is at the forefront of technological innovation and production in the coatings sector in Spain.
Founded in 1979, Pinturas Ordesa employs approximately 25 professionals and is recognized for its expertise in industrial and decorative coatings. Through this acquisition, Ordesa joins the Kupsa Group, contributing its deep experience and product range to strengthen the Group's market position.
Importantly, Pinturas Ordesa will retain its corporate identity and brand. The acquisition is expected to generate strategic synergies across operations, procurement, and commercial activities.
The transaction was signed by Mr. José Luis Ballano and Mr. José Ignacio Sánchez, shareholders of Pinturas Ordesa, and Mr. José María Sánchez, President of Kupsa.
This acquisition marks a significant step for Kupsa in its ongoing strategy to expand market presence and product capabilities, while preserving the legacy and value of the Ordesa brand.
