Akright, a seasoned genealogist and historian, has dedicated over 15 years to the local history community, serving on the City of Lake Geneva Historic Preservation Commission and as a Director at the Geneva Lake Museum. The book includes extensive research and narration of stories, particularly from the 1880s to the 1920s.
