Canlak Coatings Announces New Chief Executive Officer

Canlak Coatings Inc. (“Canlak” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of SK Capital Partners (“SK Capital”) and leading formulator and manufacturer of high-quality wood coating systems, announced today the appointment of Laura Posadas as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 7, succeeding Jim Coccagno.

Ms. Posadas, an accomplished executive with more than 20 years of experience in global leadership roles, brings a proven ability to drive innovation, operational excellence and strategic growth. Ms. Posadas joins Canlak from the Matrix Adhesives Group, where she served as Chief Commercial Officer supporting the integration and directing the growth strategies of five private equity-backed specialty chemical companies. Prior to that, Ms. Posadas held senior leadership roles within the specialty chemicals industry, including President of Castrol Americas for BP and Global Business Development Director for Henkel. Throughout her career, Ms. Posadas has been recognized for her ability to transform business units, expand market share and cultivate high-performing teams.
