About the Author:
David Wilk is an author and a lifelong dog lover. He has written two novels – Big City Fish and Gridlock – and three non-fiction books, as well as assisting on a screenplay for Gridlock. Sixteen years ago, he was asked to write a biography for a private individual, which ignited his passion for the genre. Since then, he has written or ghostwritten 18 biographical books.
Prior to transitioning to full-time writing, Wilk was an entrepreneur with a diverse background. He founded Professional Beach Volleyball and the Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, co-founded and served as president of the online surf report and forecast platform Surfline, and established Pacific Milk Caps, a national distributorship during the Pogs boom of the mid-1990s.
Wilk currently resides in Oxnard Shores, California, with his wife, Terryle, affectionately known as “Tunes,” and their two beloved dogs, Petey and Tinker. His personal connection with his pets deeply informs his writing, making Amazing Dog Stories a heartfelt tribute to the animals who bring so much joy and comfort into our lives.
