Super power grab: 'Aquaman' and 'Wonder Woman' blockbuster wins reshape Justice League's future

Disney and Marvel have proved it's possible to score with ensemble superhero and single-hero films "Black Panther" and "Avengers." DC's extended character universe, though, has included a string of critical misses. The last big DC team-up was 2017's "Justice League," which grossed the least amount of money out of the DC extended universe. But that bomb was followed by huge wins with "Aquaman" and "Wonder Woman." The future of the Justice League, and Superman and Batman, is uncertain.
