Polynesian Cultural Center to permanently layoff up to 80 employees due to Covid effect on tourism

Officials with the popular Oahu tourist destination say that state-imposed shutdowns, extended quarantine periods and subsequent "ongoing significant losses of business," are to blame for the Polynesian Cultural Center's need to cut 30% of its staff.
