California man who forced plane to divert to Kansas City allegedly said 'we're going to bring down the plane'

A California man is in federal custody after he allegedly tried to open a plane's door in the middle of a cross-country flight on Sunday and told a flight attendant that "we're going to bring down the plane," according to an affidavit.
