10X Thrive Cofounders L-R: Rachel Onamusi and Omawumi Ogbe

LONDON, England - March 15, 2022 - (Newswire.com)

50 speakers. Over 5000 participants, over 10,000 tweets, and other social media posts. For two days, the 10X Thrive Conference dominated social conversations as thought leaders from some of the world's most successful companies shared practical tips on thriving in the next normal.

From business growth, personal development to startup finance, the conference covered topics relevant to entrepreneurs and career professionals looking to achieve significant results in their areas of focus.

And it all started with a simple conversation between two women residing on two continents: Omawumi Ogbe and Rachel Onamusi.

Rachel Onamusi is CEO of London-based VN Sync, a full-service marketing agency with expertise in all aspects of media, with a keen focus on digital media strategy development and implementation.

Omawumi Ogbe is managing partner at one of Nigeria's fastest-growing PR & Communications agencies, GLG Communications - helping global brands to leverage communications for success.

"We are in the trenches ourselves and have witnessed first-hand many of the changes in today's work environment and the consequences on our lives, our families, the perception of our careers, and work-life balance," said Ogbe during her welcome address.

"By working with others, we have come to understand how these changes have altered the dynamics in the work and business environment and why those who want to thrive must effect some changes in their methods," Onamusi continued.

Some of the speakers who joined from across Africa, Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia include renowned Life Coach - Lanre Olusola; Award-Winning Actress- Dakore Egbuson-Akande; Growthpreneur & former CEO of IHS Rwanda - Azeez Amida; Director, VMware Australia & New Zealand - Olga Specjalska; VP of Innovation at Silicon Valley's Iron Mountain, Nicole Reineke; and 11-year-old US National Chess Master, Tanitoluwa Adewumi amongst others.

Ogbe alluded to the reason behind the success of the event, stating. "We designed 10X Thrive such that speakers can take on relatable topics meaningfully. There were no formal speeches or presentations, just effective tips meant to be actioned immediately."

Their strategy proved effective as the event's hashtag trended top of the Twitter table in Nigeria, South Africa, the UK, and a few other countries for 48 hours with over 9 million people reached.

Owing to this success, the duo revealed that they are already working towards other events for the year, with the 2023 conference in focus. "We're powering through the rest of 2022 with exciting activities planned, including a free high-level women's event on March 24th to commemorate International Women's Day at https://bit.ly/10xwomen," said Onamusi.  "We're currently talking to interested brands that have reached out and are happy to speak with organizations passionate about growth. They can email conference@10xthrive.com, as we continue to equip and impact."
