Philadelphia launches 211 crime prevention hotline after violent weekend

As crime and homicides continue to rise in Philadelphia, the city on Monday announced the creation of a 211 crime prevention hotline following a violent weekend that began when a 15-year-old boy died Friday after being shot in the head a day earlier during a carjacking and an undercover police officer was shot while sitting inside a vehicle.
