Service Installations Begin for Residents and Businesses
Metronet, named the “Fastest Major ISP” by PCMag two years in a row, today announced the launch of its 100% fiber-optic internet service in Marshalltown, Iowa. Residents and businesses in initial construction areas are now able to sign up for Metronet, with residential speeds up to five gigabits per second and business speeds of ten gigabits per second and beyond.
Metronet connects fiber-optic cables directly to homes and businesses, offering faster and more reliable speeds than traditional cable internet. As Metronet builds Marshalltown’s network neighborhood by neighborhood, customers will gain access to 100% fiber-optic internet as service is available at their location. Construction in Marshalltown is expected to be complete by early fall of 2025.
