Rockwell Automation Technologies Help to Light Eiffel Tower

By: 3BL Media

SOURCE: Rockwell Automation

DESCRIPTION:

Rockwell’s advanced automation technologies recently helped to light up the Eiffel Tower.

To create the light show, a team from EOdev, a subsidiary of Energy Observer, built a hydrogen fuel cell-based power generator using Rockwell energy management technologies. The generator mirrors the one used on the Energy Observer – the world’s first hydrogen-powered ship. This first-of-its-kind light display was part of the city’s “Le Paris de l'hydrogène” event in May.

Video of the light show is being shared in celebration of Bastille Day, the national day of France, on July 14. See the light show video.
