Health and Wellness Specialist Megan Hood Joins Alliant Insurance Services

San Francisco-based consultant to focus on driving employee engagement and optimizing health and wellness solutions

Megan Hood has joined Alliant Insurance Services as Vice President within its Employee Benefits Group. Based in San Francisco, Hood has extensive experience driving employee engagement and optimizing health and wellness to elevate program performance. She will predominantly serve mid-sized and large tech employers in Northern California and nationwide.

Hood has a strong track record of partnering with HR leaders and cross-functional teams to scale benefits programs, improve workforce engagement, and resolve complex benefits issues. Her expertise spans benefits strategy, compliance, stakeholder management, vendor negotiation, and communications.

Prior to joining Alliant, Hood served as Director of Health & Benefits with a global employee benefits consulting firm, where she advised large-to-mid-sized employers on building high-impact health and wellness strategies.

Hood earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in actuarial science from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
