Conduent Recognized by Disability Equality Index as “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion”

FLORHAM PARK, N.J., July 11, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Conduent Incorporated (Nasdaq: CNDT), a global technology-led business solutions and services company, today announced scoring 100 on the Disability Equality Index® (DEI) earning the title of a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion” for the second consecutive year.

DEI is the world’s most comprehensive benchmarking tool for the Fortune 1000 to measure disability workplace inclusion. Conduent was one of only 294 companies receiving the highest score of 100 in the 2023 DEI, which measured: Culture & Leadership; Enterprise-Wide Access; Employment Practices (Benefits, Recruitment, Employment, Education, Retention & Advancement, Accommodations); Community Engagement; Supplier Diversity; and Non-U.S. Operations.

“Businesses have the power to drive the global advancement of disability inclusion, and we’re thrilled to see more companies than ever leverage the DEI to measure their progress. We recognize these top-scoring companies as a ‘Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion’ for their passion and efforts to lead the way in creating greater equity for people with disabilities in the workplace, marketplace, and supply chain,” said Jill Houghton, President and CEO of Disability: IN.

The DEI was launched in 2015 by Disability:IN and The American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) and is acknowledged today as the most robust disability inclusion assessment tool in business.

“Our teams work hard to build a culture where everyone feels supported to reach their full potential, and we are proud to receive a DEI score of 100,” said Remy Kaul, Vice President, Diversity, Inclusion, and Internal Communications at Conduent. “We collaborate closely with candidates, associates and leaders at each employment stage to remove barriers and provide an equitable workplace where colleagues can flourish and grow. Our Disability Impact Group also plays a pivotal role in creating a culture of inclusion and belonging for disabled associates through internal programs. Our DEI score reflects our efforts as we continue our DEI journey.”
