Pandemic Relief Options For SMBs: ERTC Rebate Eligibility Guide Released

Businesses that may be struggling after the recent pandemic can still access up to $26,000 per employee in relief funds from the federal government, with details available in a new report from ERTC Guy.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic is officially over, the economic effects can still be seen in many small businesses around the country, with thousands forced to close permanently over the last three years. Business owners that were negatively affected by the pandemic may still be able to access up to $26,000 per employee in rebates, as explained in a new guide by ERTC Guy.

The new report explains how nearly any business owner, including those whose businesses have already been closed, can still claim pandemic relief funds using the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) program. This program is open to nearly any employer, as long as their business had between 5 and 500 W-2 employees on the payroll during the pandemic.

After several updates to the ERTC program, any type of business can now qualify, including startups, new businesses founded during the pandemic, and non-profit organizations, such as churches, schools, and clinics. Employers that have already enrolled in, or received loans through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) can also qualify, and experts suggest that any employer who qualified for PPP benefits will also qualify for ERTC rebates.

While these two pandemic relief programs were created at approximately the same time, and for the same problem, the report explains several important ways in which they differ. Unlike the PPP, rebates claimed through the ERTC program never require repayment, and have no restrictions on how they can be spent.

The report also explains that the ERTC program has no upper limit on funding, which has allowed some employers to claim more than $750,000, using the ERTC Guy application service. Business owners can use a no-cost, no-obligation eligibility checking tool on the ERTC Guy website to estimate their approximate rebate by answering 10 basic questions.

Eligible business owners can use the ERTC Guy website to claim their rebates in one of two ways. The website explains in depth how business owners can complete the paperwork themselves and provides access to a specialist application service, which helps each employer claim the maximum allowable rebate.
